Community Guidelines and Participation Disclaimer

Last Updated: March 2026

Instinct Center provides educational resources and community discussions for individuals exploring anxiety, addiction, habits, and personal development.

Our community spaces, including meetups, discussion groups, comments, and other interactions, are intended to create a respectful environment for learning and personal reflection.

By participating in Instinct Center community activities, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.

1. Educational Community – Not Therapy

Instinct Center meetups and discussions are designed to be educational and peer-support oriented.

They are not therapy sessions, counseling sessions, or medical treatment.

Participants should understand that:

  • Other members are not acting as licensed professionals
  • Advice shared by participants reflects personal opinions and experiences
  • Community discussions should not replace professional medical or mental health care

2. Respect and Support

Instinct Center is built on mutual respect and compassion.

Participants agree to treat others with dignity and understanding.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive language will not be tolerated.

3. Personal Responsibility

Each participant is responsible for their own choices, actions, and well-being.

Information shared by other participants should be considered personal experience, not professional advice.

You should always use your own judgment and seek professional guidance when appropriate.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

Because discussions may involve sensitive topics, we encourage all participants to respect the privacy of others.

Participants should not record, share, or redistribute personal stories or identifying information shared by other members without their explicit permission.

While we encourage privacy and respect, Instinct Center cannot guarantee that all participants will maintain confidentiality.

5. No Harmful or Dangerous Advice

Content that promotes self-harm, illegal activity, dangerous substance use, or harmful behaviors is not permitted.

Instinct Center reserves the right to remove such content and restrict participation when necessary to protect the community.

6. Moderation

Instinct Center reserves the right to moderate discussions and remove content that violates these guidelines.

We may also limit or remove access to community spaces if a participant engages in behavior that harms the safety or integrity of the community.

7. Crisis Situations

Instinct Center community spaces are not equipped to respond to emergencies.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

8. Participation Acknowledgment

By participating in Instinct Center community spaces, you acknowledge that you understand these guidelines and accept personal responsibility for your participation.
